Refund Policy
Effective date: [[EFFECTIVE_DATE]]
Template: replace all placeholders and review before publication.
This policy applies to purchases from [[COMPANY_NAME]]. Contact [[CONTACT_EMAIL]] for billing help. Mandatory statutory rights take priority over this policy, including any applicable cancellation or withdrawal rights.
Requesting a refund
Send your account email, order reference, purchase date and reason to [[CONTACT_EMAIL]]. Do not send a password, verification code or full card number. Our proposed request window is [[REFUND_WINDOW_DAYS]] days after purchase; the operator must confirm this policy before launch. Statutory deadlines are not shortened by that window.
What we review
We review duplicate or unauthorized charges, paid services that were not delivered, technical failures and requests concerning unused credits. AI dissatisfaction alone does not establish whether a refund is due; each request is reviewed against the actual delivery, promised service and applicable law. Credits already used may reflect upstream processing costs, without overriding mandatory remedies.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Cancel future renewal in your billing profile or contact support if that option is unavailable. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period unless an immediate option is explicitly chosen. Cancelling a subscription does not by itself submit a refund request. If renewal billing is disputed, contact us with the relevant invoice.
Review and payment method
We aim to respond within [[RESPONSE_DAYS]] business days after receiving the necessary information. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where supported. Bank and payment processor settlement times vary; we cannot guarantee the date funds appear in your account. Associated credits or entitlements may be adjusted to reflect a refund.
Digital services and your rights
Starting delivery of digital services may affect withdrawal rights only where the applicable legal conditions, disclosures and consent requirements have been satisfied. This template is not a blanket waiver of those rights. The operator must obtain appropriate review for customers in each market before taking payments.
